Carlos and Marie-Claire’s story began in a place of hard work, long hours, and quiet moments in between: Yosemite Ranch. Marie-Claire worked in takeout, moving with purpose and grace, while Carlos held his place on the expo line, steady and focused. Their paths crossed through passing glances, shared shifts, and small exchanges that slowly became something more.From the moment Carlos noticed Marie-Claire, he was completely taken. There was something about her he couldn’t ignore, something that stayed with him long after each shift ended. He asked her out once, then again, and again. Each time, he remained hopeful and patient until one day, she finally said yes!With that simple yes, their story truly began.What followed was not a perfect fairytale, but something far more beautiful and real. They experienced moments of joy and moments of challenge, lessons that tested them and helped shape the people they would become. Through every season, one thing remained constant: they chose each other. They did not walk away. They did not give up. Instead, they grew together.As two Catholics, they made their faith the foundation of their relationship. Through prayer, God's grace, and trust in His plan, they learned that true love is not about perfection, but about forgiveness, patience, sacrifice, and choosing one another every single day. God continually guided their hearts, teaching them to love more deeply, communicate more openly, and extend grace to one another even during difficult moments.Then, on August 30, 2023, God blessed them with one of the greatest gifts they could ever receive: their son, Joseph-Michael.His arrival transformed their lives in ways they never could have imagined. He became their greatest blessing, their greatest joy, and a beautiful reminder of God's faithfulness. Through him, they grew not only as partners, but also as parents. He strengthened their bond, deepened their faith, and reminded them daily of the beauty of unconditional love.Their story was never about finding someone perfect. It was about finding someone worth choosing every day. It was about learning to forgive, to grow, to trust in God, and to build a life centered on faith and family.What began on opposite sides of a busy restaurant became a lifelong promise rooted in resilience, devotion, and a love that only grew stronger with time.Today, as they begin this new chapter as husband and wife, they do so with grateful hearts, knowing that every step of their journey has been guided by God's hand. Surrounded by family, friends, and the love they have built together, they celebrate not only their story but the beautiful future that still lies ahead.This is only the beginning.
